This class is for beginning to advanced students and is customizable to each skill set. Students can learn how to center, open, and throw clay on the pottery wheel as well as various hand building techniques. Instruction will be given to craft such items as bowls, mugs, and vases. Students are encouraged to use open lab time to practice and finish projects. This ten-week class. Space is limited, sign up today!

Time: 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Campus location: Pottery Studio
Materials: $25 fee due the first day of class, paid to instructor. The fee covers the cost of clay, firings, and glazes. All other basic pottery tools provided.

Pete has a BS from Southern Utah University (SUU) in Ceramics and Sculpture. After graduating he taught at SUU. Pete has 15 years experience in the ceramic arts and is excited to be apart of the Salt Lake art community.
