Friday Night Pottery Mar. 27 - May. 29, 5:30 pm
This class is perfect for beginning to advanced students and is customizable to each skill set. Students will learn how to center, open, and throw clay on the pottery wheel as well as various hand building techniques. Instruction will be given to craft such items as bowls, mugs, and vases. Students are encouraged to use open lab time to practice and finish projects.

Materials: $35 fee due the first day of class, paid to instructor. The fee covers the cost of clay, firings, and glazes. All other basic pottery tools provided.
Student limit: 14 people

Anthony Magnetti is an Ogden based ceramic artist currently working towards opening a studio at his home. He received a BFA in ceramics and sculpture from Southern Utah University, has been invited to fire and show his work in La Borne, France; Mendocino, California; and Penland School of Craft in Penland, North Carolina. He has worked for the US Forest Service since 2009 as a Wildland Firefighter and dedicated 5 years at Weber Basin Job Corps, mentoring students and teaching them good Firefighting and forestry practices. This summer he will be working more in the art world teaching and creating a new body of work. He is excited to work at the Pioneer Craft House and become apart of its community of artists.
