Wed. Silversmithing - March 18–April 29
Learn the beautiful art of silversmithing and create fine jewelry you can wear with pride or give as gifts. This six-week class teaches how to do most everything needed in silversmithing. Students will learn how to work with copper and sterling silver metal, using traditional hand tools and fabrication skills such as sawing, filing, texturing, soldering and finishing. Students will be encouraged to develop their design voice (everyone has one!) and will be taught how to set a bezel set stone in a ring or pendant of their own design. Students should be able to complete 2 - 3 projects in this class.
