Beginning Rigid Heddle Weaving
Get ready for winter with this new class, and learn how to weave a scarf on a rigid heddle loom!
Rigid heddle weaving is easy, relatively inexpensive, and portable for learning the craft of weaving. No previous weaving experience is necessary. Students will learn how to direct warp a loom, weave a scarf, and finish the scarf. Each student will receive adequate training during class so they can take their scarf home to work on between classes. Students are encouraged to take advantage of open studio time (see times below) to practice weaving skills and complete their project. |
