Puppetry & Sock Puppets
Experience a professional puppet show, performed by The Kipper Brothers' Puppet Works, and make and take a puppet the same day! This Saturday, June 10, discover the fun of puppetry and bring your creation to life! In this family friendly 2.5-hour workshop, students will be entertained by professional puppeteers and learn how to create a sock puppet of their own, with a moving mouth, arms, and rods to operate the arms. This class will bring out the child in everyone. Seating is limited so reserve your spot today!

Materials: All materials will be provided (socks, felt, glue, pom poms, pipe cleaners, and fur). Students however, can bring their own socks and embellishments if desired.

Shelby Rickart has had a love of puppets since she was a child and started making them at a young age. When asked why she loves them so much she said: "I like that they can tell stories." Shelby is the founder and director of The Kipper Brothers Puppet Works, a seven-year-old performing company. She is an expert in puppetry, script writing, puppet construction, and show production.
