Monday Pottery 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

This class is for beginning to advanced students and is customizable to each skill set. Students can learn how to center, open, and throw clay on the pottery wheel as well as various hand building techniques. Instruction will be given to craft such items as bowls, mugs, and vases. Students are encouraged to use open lab time to practice and finish projects. This is a ten-week class. ​​Space is limited, sign up today!

Ages: 12+ (under 18 must be accompanied by an adult)

Tuition: $160.00

Campus location: Pottery Studio

Materials: $25 fee due the first day of class, paid to instructor. The fee covers the cost of clay, firings, and glazes. All other basic pottery tools provided.

Nancy Marr

Nancy worked as an art teacher for 25 years, and 10 years as a pottery teacher at Granger High. Her sweet spirit and love for teaching only add to the and enjoyable experience of learning about clay. Nancy took her first pottery class when she was four years old. She came home and told everyone she was "going to be a potter when she grew up." Nancy is passionate about telling stories in clay. With each of her more elaborate pieces, you can see the details of a story being told.  She can inspire you to do the same and let your imagination soar.
