We invite you to come and learn the fascinating technique of Metal Forming to create fantastic jewelry pieces!
In this 2-day class, students will learn the basic skills necessary to craft bracelets and other objects using fold-forming and air chasing techniques with copper sheet and pipe. Students will create at least one bracelet using each method.
Techniques to be taught include how to use a chasing hammer, bracelet mandrel, bench block, dapping tools, anvil, annealing pan, and torch. Students will learn how to anneal metal and form surface decoration by manipulating the metal with hammers and other tools. This class is perfect for beginners and those looking to broaden their jewelry making skills.
Dates: Two-day classes (see above)
Time: 6 pm–9 pm

Campus location: Cottage
Materials: $15 materials fee due the first day of class to the instructor. Covers tools, acetylenes, equipment, copper pipe and copper sheet.
Student limit: 6 people
Policy: 72-hour notice required for class cancellation and refund.
