Scott has had a fascination with rocks and gems since his childhood and when not cutting and polishing stones, hes planning rock hunting trips or attending rock and mineral shows throughout the area. He started his journey with Lapidary in 2018 at Pioneer Craft House and has been addicted ever since. His favorite stone to cut is opal, specifically Ethiopian (Wello) opal. He remembers the feeling he got from the very first completed cabochon he worked. He was so excited and in awe with the creation that he wants to help other students to be able to feel the same way.
